As a food reviewer, I am consistently fascinated by places that excel not only in their menu offerings but also in creating a warm ambiance. 40 Paper does just that. One of the highlights is their ever-popular Spiced Apple drink, which has been described as “smooth as a caramel apple.” It’s the perfect sip to enjoy on a cold winter evening, a sentiment echoed by guests like Beth Lake, who praised its comforting flavor.
The menu shines with diverse options, such as the house-made gluten-free and vegan pasta that caters to various dietary needs. Customers rave about dishes like the Linguine, which turns a simple meal into an extraordinary experience. RĆ noted the “amazing” quality of the pasta and appreciated the inclusive options for gluten-free and vegetarian guests.
The atmosphere is another key ingredient in 40 Paper's recipe for success. Patrons like Kayla Bush found it to be cozy and welcoming, making it an ideal spot for a family outing or a romantic date night. With a friendly and knowledgeable staff, including the dynamic Alicia, dining at 40 Paper is always a pleasure. This warmth is especially appreciated during the colder months, as Dennis Ingram experienced on a rainy night.

Thursday night in December. Loved the SPICED APPLE drink. Smooth as a caramel apple! Mussels with sambuca! Favorite taste unlocked! Quiet night. Perfect setting! I’ll be back!
Had Linguine and it was amazing. They run a happy hour from 4pm to 6pm in bar area only. Great place to come with a family or on a date. Plenty of dishes can be made gluten free or vegetarian, and they make their own gluten free and vegan pasta. Service was great too, Alicia was friendly and knowledgeable. We also got to meet few other servers and bartenders, and they all seemed to know their stuff. Definitely will be back!
A really delightful dinner! I gotta be honest... Don't really see where the bad reviews come from. The food was delicious, the drinks were great, the atmosphere was cozy and inviting, and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. If we lived around here, we would definitely come back!
Had a great time. Warm and welcoming hostesses and staff (it was a cold and rainy night especially for folks from the South). Happy hour (mussels and flatbread) were excellent !!! Suggest you put a sample menu on website (happy hour and dinner) to give people an idea of selections
Great dinner in a great atmosphere. Beer and wine selection was good, menu was unique but not super weird, wait staff was friendly and fast. We enjoyed our meal and hung around for dessert and conversation. Excellent date night.
Excellent! We were seated at a quiet corner table. Our server, the bar manager, was top-notch and provided excellent customer service. The menu is limited but the offerings are incredible. The vibe is chic but feels casual. I recommend visiting for a great, casual dependable experience. Dessert is delicious too! PS: When you walk in, make sure you walk all the way to the hostess stand on the wall in front of you. The two people sitting near the door to the left are bar patrons
The food was amazing. We had the restaurant week menu a a few extra things from the regular menu. The staff was very friendly. Great service, quiet intimate atmosphere ...
We had an early dinner at 40 paper. We were greeted and seated promply. We started with glasses of Pinot Noir and shared carrot Thai soup with coconut. It was delicious. They also provided regular and gluten-free bread for the table. For dinner, I had the Prosciutto flat bread. Very nice. My wife had Bolognese with gluten-free pasta that they make in-house. She was very pleased. For dessert, we had cappuccinos and shared a tiramisu. Excellent. Overall, it was great service by the staff, excellent food, and a pleasant atmosphere. We will go back.
